
Yoga Classes
Although originating from the Indian sub-continent, Hatha Yoga is the most widely practiced type of yoga in the UK and indeed, in the western world. Hatha Yoga focusses on the health and improvement of both the physical body and of the mind. This is achieved through the systematic introduction and mastery of: yoga postures (asana) breathing practice (pranayama) relaxation and simple meditation techniques. At Yogasimply, we teach both the traditional style of Hatha yoga and a more dynamic practice known as ‘Vinyasa flow’ which links yoga postures into flowing routines synchronised with the breath. The latter while slightly more demanding, combines the physical and mental benefits obtained from each individual asana with potentially higher levels of concentration and co-ordination.
Hatha Yoga
This class is suitable for students new to yoga and those with some previous experience of yoga practice.
Vinyasa Flow
The Vinyasa Flow class is a more demanding class which is more suitable for students wanting to work with a more 'dynamic' style of practice.
